No School? No problem. YMCA Camp Matawa has a variety of camps throughout the year for when schools out!!!
Halloween Camp Ages 7-15 October 27-29, 2010
Join us for some Matawa style Halloween excitement! Spend two nights in our comfortable cabins and two days at camp making friends and having a blast! Make some spooky Halloween crafts, find your way through the corn maze with friends, and carve your own hand picked pumpkin. Sip hot cider and munch on fresh roasted pumpkin seeds while taking a hayride or getting dressed up for the costume party! Whether you come with friends or come ready to meet new ones, Halloween camp is sure to be a treat!

Winter Camp Ages 7-15 December 27-30, 2010
Bring in the New Year early at YMCA Camp Matawa! Spend four days and three nights in a beautiful winter wonderland gathering with old friends and making new ones. We will spend one day at Sunburst Ski and Recreation Area, giving experienced snowboarders and skiers an opportunity to show off on the slopes. Not so experienced? No problem! Ski or snowboard rental and a morning lesson are included in the cost! You can also choose to go tubing and race your friends down the hills! The other days will be filled with winter activities such as snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and building snow sculptures, as well as traditional camp activities such as archery, climbing wall and arts and crafts!

Girls Weekend. Ages 10-16 April 10-11, 2010
No boys allowed! Join us for a fun-filled weekend of all your favorite camp activities with a twist! The weekend will emphasize teamwork and friendship as well as leadership skills for the next generation of female leaders! Girls will be divided into groups to focus on age appropriate skill development. Like the YMCA pioneered Girls Night Out Program, we hope to give girls a safe forum to discuss and learn about the ever changing world and the societal pressures placed on girls as they transition into adulthood. In addition, they will have the opportunity to do traditional camp activities such as the Climbing Wall, Arts and Crafts, and other Matawa favorites!

Matawapalooza. Ages 7-15 March 26-27, 2010
Always wanted to share Camp Matawa with a friend? Here’s your chance! Matawapalooza is a new weekend specifically designed for returning campers to bring a friend to camp in a fun and inexpensive way! Join us for a fun filled night of traditional camp games like capture the flag and spend the day participating in everything from the climbing wall to archery to kissing the Buffalo! What a great way to share the Spirit of Matawa with a friend and to get closer to earning your new Recruiter Camp Chair!
Returning Camper Fee: $40 Bring a new friend and you both pay only $20!
