YMCA Camp Matawa staff will gladly work with you to create the best program for your school group. Whether you are starting a brand new camping program or building on an already existing program, our activities and fantastic staff are available to you. Many activities are included in your camp fees, some incur an additional fee. We offer day or overnight opportunities. Lodging and meals are available.
We offer an extensive array of "self-serve" activities including:
• Indoor and outdoor camp fires
• Cross country skis and snowshoes
• Gameroom with pool, ping pong, foosball, and carpetball tables
• Volleyball, basketball and 4 square courts
• Ga-Ga ball arena
• Television and VCR/DVD
Our Camp Staff led activities includes:
• Mountain Bikes
• Teambuilding/Groups Games
• Archery
• Canoeing
• Alpine Tower
• Climbing Wall
• Swimming Pool
In addition, Camp Matawa offers easy access to the Kettle Moraine State Forest, including the Ice Age Trail and Nature Center, Milwaukee River, Mauthe and Long Lake, State hiking, biking and snowmobile trails, a variety of forests and wetlands and more!
